PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for operating a system according to information distribution is provided to efficiently distribute various images, voices, sounds and file data stored on a bulk storage media so that they can be stored and operated in each affiliated system. CONSTITUTION: A server system(10) comprises a bulk storage media(10-1), a data calling unit(10-2), a data conversion transceiver(10-3), a control unit(10-4) and the first data storage unit(10-5). The bulk storage media(10-1) stores various data such as images, voices, sounds, file data, etc. The data calling unit(10-2) generates control signals to invoke necessary data from the data stored in the bulk storage media(10-1). The data conversion transceiver(10-3) receives the data requested by a client system(12) through a middle-ware system(14-1) and converts the data requested by a user from the middle-ware system(14-1) to transmit them. The control unit(10-4), in case that a plurality of client systems(12-11-12-1n) request the same data or different data, controls so that the requested data can be received from the middle-ware system(14-1), necessary control signals can be allocated to the data calling unit(10-2) and the data can be transmitted to the data conversion transceiver(10-3). The first data storage unit(10-5) stores the data between the data calling unit(10-2) and the data conversion transceiver(10-3) temporarily.
