A method for reading a test strip is provided to be used in analyzing the density of dispersed polymers of a water system, thereby adding the dispersed polymers to the water system to reduce the formation and corrosion of scale. A method for reading test strips comprises the following steps of: attaching a white test strip to a card which is greater and darker than the white test strip; scanning the card; forming the digital image of the card of which each pixel has RGB(Red, Green, Blue) values; and calculating color intensity for each red line on the white test strip using the digital image. |
