摘要 A plasma display panel dielectric substance composition and an eco-friendly plasma display panel comprising the composition are provided to embody the same function as the plasma display panel having dielectric substance composition which comprises lead oxide even though the dielectric substance composition excludes lead oxide by employing bismuth oxide, boron oxide, silicon oxide and aluminum oxide in the dielectric substance composition. A plasma display panel dielectric substance composition comprises: 38-68 parts by weight of bismuth oxide, 10-35 parts by weight of boron oxide, 1-17 parts by weight of silicon oxide and 1-15 parts by weight of aluminum oxide, and additionally comprises at most 5 parts by weight of calcium oxide. The dielectric substance comprising the composition has a glass transition temperature of 432-490deg.C. A plasma display panel comprising the dielectric substance composition has a front panel(100) which parallels a rear panel(110). The front panel has a scan electrode(102) having a transparent electrode(102a) consisting of transparent ITO material and a bus electrode(102b) consisting of opaque metal material and a sustain electrode(103) on the front substrate(101). An upper dielectric substance layer(104)covers the scan electrode and the sustain electrode, and a protective layer(105) deposited with MgO is on the upper dielectric substance layer. The rear panel has a few address electrodes(113) which cross the scan electrode and the sustain electrode on the rear substrate(111). The rear panel also has open-type closing partitions of well type or stripe type for dividing a few discharge cells. The discharge cells divided by the partitions has red(R), green(G) and blue(B) phosphor layers(114) inside. An upper part dielectric substance is on the front panel, and a lower part dielectric substance layer(115) consisting of various dielectric substances is between the address electrode and the phosphor layers on the rear panel.
