摘要 <p>An interpretation management system which can cope with the interpretation of all languages, can cope with the interpretation of words concerning special fields such as technical terms and, further, eliminates the necessity of making telephone operators and interpreters always wait at a particular place. An interpreter table is provided and interpreter specifying information data for specifying an interpreter, language information data indicating the type of language which can be interpreted by the interpreter, interpreter time zone information indicating a time zone in which the interpreter is available for interpretation and connection information indicating the connection destination of the interpreter are stored and held in the interpreter table. In response to a call from a customer, an interpreter who can interpreter the requested language and is available at present is called in accordance with the contents of the interpreter table and telephone communication between the called interpreter and the customer is realized to enable the interpretation by the interpreter. Further, reservation information indicating reserved times at which the customers want to have the interpreters for interpretation are also stored and held in the interpreter table and the customer and the interpreter are called when the present time coincides with the reserved time.</p>
