Liquid-crystalline medium

A liquid-crystalline medium based on a mixture of polar compounds which comprises at least one compound of the formula I in which R¹¹, R¹², and L^1-6 have the meanings indicated in Claim 1 , is described. Also described is the use thereof for an active-matrix display based on the ECB, PALC, FFS or IPS effect.
