A communication method in a wireless network, a station therein, and a communication method thereof are provided to implement power saving efficiently in case of broadcast/multicast traffic. In transmitting a beacon to other stations which should receive multicast frames, a station carries the beacon with information about the stations. In this case, the station inserts information about the stations in the partial virtual bitmap field of the TIM(Traffic Indication Map) information element of the beacon and transmits the beacon every DTIM(Delivery Traffic Indication Map) interval. Also the station sets bits of the partial virtual bitmap field, which respectively correspond to the AIDs(Association IDs) of the stations which should receive multicast frames, to '1' and transmits the beacon to them. In case the station is buffering broadcast frames, the station sets a bit of the partial virtual bitmap field, which corresponds to AID '0', to '1' and transmits the beacon to other stations.
