摘要 A communication method in a wireless network, a station therein, and a communication method thereof are provided to increase the throughput in case a direct link is established between two stations. The first QSTA(Station with QoS facility) directly transmits TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) data to the second QSTA which supports IEEE 802.11e. Receiving the TCP data, the second QSTA transmits TCP Ack data to a QAP(Access Point with QoS facility) which supports IEEE 802.11e. In this case, each QSTA checks the size of a packet, or data to be transmitted, before transmitting the packet. If the size of a packet to be transmitted is larger than a DLS(Direct Link Setup) threshold, each QSTA directly transmits the packet to the other. If the size of a packet to be transmitted is equal to or smaller than the DLS threshold, each QSTA transmits the packet to the QAP. The QAP delivers the TCP Ack data to the first QSTA. Based on the TCP Ack data received from the QAP, the first QSTA confirms that the TCP data have been completely transmitted to the second QSTA. The first QSTA judges whether the next TCP data to be transmitted to the second QSTA exist.
