A mortise and a door lock device having the same are provided to improve user safety by enabling a user to quickly open a door at an emergency situation. Plural components are contained in a base(110). A side cover(111) covers one side surface of the base. A dead bolt hole and a latch bolt hole are formed on the side surface cover. One end of a dead bolt(120) is moved back and forth in the dead bolt hole in a direction normal to the side cover. One end of a latch bolt(141) is moved back and forth in the latch bolt hole in a direction normal to the side cover. A first cam(151) is rotated around one axis, which is normal to the base, and moves the dead bolt in a straight line. A second cam(152) is rotated around one axis and delivers the rotational force of the indoor lever to the first cam and the latch bolt. A third cam(153) is rotated around the one axis and delivers the rotational force of an outdoor lever to the second cam.
