An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase utilization efficiency of a fringe field by extending an outermost slit of a common electrode in a data line direction, thereby increasing light transmittance of a pixel area. A gate line is formed on a substrate. A data line(120) crosses the gate line as being insulated from the gate line. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor)(T) is formed in an intersection area between the gate and data lines. A pixel electrode(140) is connected with the TFT. In a common electrode(160), plural slits(162a,162b) are overlapped with the pixel electrode. An outermost slit of the plural slits formed in the common electrode is extended in a direction of the data line. |
