ARRAY SUBSTRATE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME

An array substrate for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent deterioration of image quality caused by increase of light leakage current. Gate lines(150) and data lines cross each other in one side of a substrate(101) as defining a pixel area(P). An organic TFT(Thin Film Transistor)(Tr) is formed in the one side as being connected with the gate and data lines. A pixel electrode(117) is formed in the pixel area as being contacted with one electrode(113) of the organic TFT. A light blocking pattern(103) is formed on the other side of the substrate in correspondence with the organic TFT.
