A drive unit protecting circuit for an electronic parking brake system is provided to prevent the drive unit from being damaged by an error of an input signal and breakage of the drive unit protecting circuit. A drive unit protecting circuit for an electronic parking brake system comprises a D flip-flop, a first NAND gate(1), and a second NAND gate(2). The first NAND gate receives an output signal Q from the D flip-flop as a first input and receives a vehicle speed signal as a second input. The second NAND gate receives an output signal from the first NAND gate as a first input. The second NAND gate receives a driving signal generated form a diving box of the parking brake system as a second input so that the drive unit stops its operation when the vehicle speed signal is output. |
