A suction structure of a hermetic compressor is provided to reduce vibration and noise of the compressor by attaching a flexible connecting pipe to a case of the compressor. A suction structure of a hermetic compressor comprises a body(100), a suction pipe(200), a suction muffler(300), and a connecting unit(400). The connecting unit has a fixed piece(410) and a connecting pipe(420). The fixed piece surrounds the suction pipe in the body. One end of the connecting pipe is fitted to a front end of the fixed piece and the other end is attached to a suction unit of the suction muffler. The connecting pipe is made of a flexible material.
