A transmission of an agricultural tractor is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and improve productivity by reducing the number of gears, shafts, and bearings of a transmission. A transmission of an agricultural tractor comprises a front case(1), an intermediate case(2), a rear case(3). An input drive shaft(4) is installed in the front case. A clutch assembly(5) is installed at the left outer surface of the input drive shaft to control drive of the input drive shaft. A main transmission(6) is installed at the right outer surface of the input drive shaft to shift gears. A needle roller bearing is installed in the intermediate case and supports the middle part of the input drive shaft. The right end part of the input drive shaft protrudes out of the right wall of the intermediate case. A mid PTO(Power Takeoff) shaft(10) inside the rear case is connected with the input drive shaft by a coupling(9). A PTO input shaft(12) having a plurality of helical gear(11) is connected with the right end of the mid PTO shaft. A PTO clutch assembly(13) regulates drive power of the mid PTO shaft with the PTO input shaft. A PTO output shaft(15) is inserted in a PTO transmission(14) under the PTO input shaft. An idle reverse gear(16) is installed under the input drive shaft, and rotates at RPM(Revolutions Per Minute) shifted by the main transmission, and transfers backing drive power. A pair of counter gears(18) are installed by a spur gear(17) under the reverse gear. A main shift gear(19) is installed under the counter gear. A rear differential gear(20) is connected to the end of the main shaft gear. A drive shaft for four wheel drive(20b) is installed by the medium of a gear for four wheel drive(20a) under the rear differential gear.
