#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves injecting fuel in an internal combustion engine i.e. diesel engine, to produce precombustion in the engine, when the engine is driven by a starter. A rejection of exhaust gas produced by the precombustion is limited with respect to nominal functions of the engine. A quantity of air is introduced in the engine corresponding to the nominal functions of the engine to produce a direct combustion in the engine. The quantity of air introduced in the engine is limited with respect to the nominal functions of the engine. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for controlling an internal combustion engine i.e. diesel engine, of a vehicle to cold start the engine at 30 degree Celsius. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method permits cold starting of the engine at -30 degree Celsius, in an efficient, rapid and inexpensive manner.
