An apparatus and a method for combining wired/wireless UWB(Ultra Wide Band) applications are provided to establish a beacon group for both wired and wireless UWB nodes according to a single superframe having two different BG(Band Group)/TFC(Time Frequency Code) values and to exchange data between the wired and wireless UWB nodes every single superframe. A beacon group is established for both wired and wireless UWB nodes according to a single superframe. Data are transmitted between the wired and wireless UWB nodes every superframe. The wired node comprises a gateway. In this case, data are transmitted to the wired and wireless UWB nodes from the gateway. The beacon group comprises a virtual beacon group for a wireless node beacon group and a wired node beacon group. Either of the wired and wireless UWB nodes comprises an ethernet bridge.
