PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining clip capable of improving work efficiency in mounting, preventing falling of a pad pin, and preventing looseness between a caliper and the pad pin. SOLUTION: The disk brake device holds a brake pad by two pad pins 64a, 64b provided on a turn-in side and turn-out side of a rotor in the disk brake device. The retaining clip 10 is locked by utilizing circumferential grooves 65a, 65b provided on tip end parts of the pad pins 64a, 64b, and includes an energizing means 12 for energizing in a direction for coming the two pad pins 64a, 64n close to each other or separating them from each other. Locking means 18 freely fitted to the circumferential grooves 65a, 65b are provided on both end parts of the energizing means 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
