PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signature conveying device exhibiting high speed, stable conveying and reducing jamming of sheet materials. SOLUTION: An intermediate roller 20 is disposed between an upstream roller 14 and a downstream roller 17 wrapped around with the downstream ends and upstream ends of upstream and downstream conveying belts 15, 18. The downstream ends 15a and the upstream ends 18a of the upstream and downstream conveying belts 15, 18 are alternately extended to be wrapped around the intermediate roller 20.
