PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle storage box in which light from a light source is not completely blocked even if an article is stored inside a box body, and to make a light diffusion part have a function other than the function for diffusing the light from the light source. SOLUTION: This vehicle storage box 10 is provided with the box body 12 for storing the article W, a light guide plate 20 arranged on the bottom 14 of the box body 12, and a light emitter 22 arranged oppositely to the end 20a of the light guide plate 20. The light diffusion part 28 by which the light from the light emitter 22 introduced inside of the light guide plate 20 is diffused toward the inside of the box body 12 is formed on the upper surface of the light guide plate 20.
