PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrubber wastewater treatment method which enables the safe and low-cost treatment of cyanogen components contained in scrubber wastewater discharged from a scrubber installed in a fuel recovery process from an organic waste. SOLUTION: The pH of the scrubber wastewater discharged from the scrubber 5 installed in the fuel recovery process from the organic waste is adjusted to 2-5, and then the wastewater is introduced into an aeration tank 11 to transfer the cyanogen components in the wastewater to a gas phase. The resultant cyanogen-containing gas is burned in a boiler 14. The boiler 14 burns a part of recovered fuel, and uses the cyanogen-containing gas as air for burning the fuel.
