Disclosed is a technique for optimizing a packet transfer in a network. According to the technique, an MN (mobile node) (1000) having a plurality of interfaces sets packets to be received by respective interfaces. A filter rule which describes the setting condition is transmitted to MAG (mobility access gateway) (1060, 1080) which are connected. The MAG transfers the received filter rule to LMA (local mobility anchor) (1010). The LMA analyzes the filter rule, identifies a network node which requires reflection of the filter rule, and updates the filter rule only for that network node. For example, when an MN desires reception of a packet from CN (1090) via a path (1002), the LMA controls the MAG (1020) to transfer the packet transmitted from the CN and destined to the MN, to the MAG (1060).
