An apparatus for washing a short fiber bundle is provided to minimize a loss rate by preventing a bundle of short fibers from being scattered and to shorten working time. An apparatus for washing a short fiber bundle comprises a body(10) having a separate support(12) at an upper plate thereof. An actuating member(20) is installed on the upper plate to transversely compress a short fiber bundle in the side direction of the short fiber bundle. A support member(30) faces the actuating member while being spaced apart from the actuating member to support the short fiber bundle pushed by the actuating member. A spacer(40) is provided in the front of the support member to adjust an interval between the actuating member and the support member. A driving motor(50) is installed at the support of the body to facilitate an operation of the actuating member. A reservoir(60) is installed at the inner lower portion of the body. A water spray pipe(70) is installed in the front of the support to spray water, which is supplied from the reservoir, between the actuating member and the support member.
