<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can sufficiently secure an air suction amount necessary to cool the inside of the apparatus while preventing a noise from being transmitted to the front side of the apparatus, and that is excellent in noiseless performance and cooling performance. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes a front cover 30 that is freely opened/closed so as to expose the inside of the apparatus. The front cover 30 includes: a handle 32 formed to a recessed shape; and a ventilation louver 33 formed at the inside of the recessed part 32a of the handle 32, configured to ventilate the air between the inside and outside of the apparatus so as to cool the inside of the apparatus. Thus, the noise generated in the image forming apparatus 1 is prevented from being transmitted to the outside. Further, the ventilation louver 33 functioning as a suction port can be easily enlarged, and even when the ventilation louver 33 is enlarged, the enlarged louver 33 is inconspicuous. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
