<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater suppressing the rise of discharge refrigerant pressure from a compressor when starting the operation of the compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump type water heater comprises the compressor 1 compressing a refrigerant; a hot water supply heat exchanger 2 exchanging heat between the refrigerant and hot and cold water; a pressure reducing device 3 reducing the pressure of the refrigerant; an evaporator 4 in which the refrigerant absorbs heat from air; a hot water storage tank 7 storing hot and cold water for hot water supply; a water supply means 8 supplying hot and cold water in the hot water storage tank 7 to the hot water supply heat exchanger 2; and a discharge pressure detecting means 14 detecting the discharge pressure of the compressor 1. When the pressure detected by the pressure detecting means 14 reaches a predetermined pressure, high pressure protective control of stopping the operation of the compressor 1 is performed, and when the operation of the compressor 1 is stopped by the high pressure protective control, predetermined opening is added to the valve opening of the pressure reducing device 3 to resume the operation of the compressor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
