<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft fitting structure capable of reducing man hours for part control and providing a stable retaining function without using a snap ring. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft fitting structure includes a spline 31 of a shaft 3 fitted with a fitting part with the spline 29 formed on an inner diameter surface. The spline 31 of the shaft 3 includes a fitting spline 31b and an end part spline 31a having projecting and recessed teeth shifted in a circumferential direction from projecting and recessed teeth of the fitting spline 31b.
