PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for replacing a face component in an image. SOLUTION: The method is constituted for forming a new image by cloning a facial feature template image in an original image that includes a face. This method includes a stage of detecting the face and facial features in the original image, a stage for reducing the original image and the template image, a stage for forming the new image by cloning the reduced template image in the reduced original image, a stage for enlarging the new image, and a stage for displaying the enlarged new image. This method can use Poisson cloning that is solved by determining the final solution of simultaneous linear equations, by applying a Conjugate Gradient algorithm using an initial solution, through determining of the initial solution, by applying a Thomas algorithm provided to the simultaneous linear equations.
