<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film composition having high affinity with an additive such as a matting agent, to provide an optical film composition having high affinity for an additive such as a matting agent and a retardation adjustment agent, and to provide an optical film having high all ray permeability, capable of giving desired retardation and excellent in stability and productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The film composition contains a polymer having a monomer unit represented by formula (I). In formula (I), Q<SP>1</SP>represents a cyano group or a -COX<SP>2</SP>group, X<SP>1</SP>represents a hydrogen atom bonded to an α carbon through a hetero atom, an organic residue, a polymer chain and a halogen atom, X<SP>2</SP>represents a hydrogen atom bonded to a carbonyl group through a hetero atom, an organic residue, a polymer chain, and a halogen atom, R<SP>a</SP>and R<SP>b</SP>represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an organic residue, and X<SP>1</SP>and X<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>a</SP>and R<SP>b</SP>, and X<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>a</SP>or R<SP>b</SP>may be bonded to each other to form a cyclic structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
