PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of cancelling function of a temperature detecting terminal without using external components such as a resistor, even in case a temperature detecting terminal is not used on an application in case of a battery pack not incorporating a thermistor. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device 100 for charging control equipped with a temperature detecting terminal 10, a temperature detecting control part 11 detecting battery temperature based on a detected voltage value below a constant voltage inputted into the temperature detecting terminal 10 and carrying out temperature detecting control to stop charging of the battery 110 when the detected voltage is outside a given voltage range, is further provided with a fixed voltage impressing means 31 impressing a fixed voltage outside the given voltage range on the temperature detection terminal 10, and a temperature detection control release circuit 18 releasing the temperature detection control by the fixed voltage impressed on the fixed voltage impressing means 31.
