PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ill effects of iron powder produced in a casing on the operation of a magnetic sensor device which detects the operated condition of a transmission. SOLUTION: The transmission having a pair of transmission shafts 15, 16 provided in the casing 10, and a plurality of pairs of transmission gears 17a-19b provided between both transmission shafts, from which one pair is selected to transmit power between both transmission shafts. It comprises the magnetic sensor devices 30, 35 consisting of magnet portions 32, 37 for generating a magnetic field which is changed with the operation of the transmission, and detection portions 31, 36 for detecting the operated condition of the transmission with a change of the magnetic field. Lubricating oil accumulated in the lower part of the casing is sucked by a lubricating oil supply pump 40 and jetted into the magnet portions exposed into the casing via lubricating oil supply pipes 42, 43 to remove iron powder attracted to the magnet portions.
