摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a welding robot that actualizes automatic welding, not relying on manual welding, of a welding section where welding defect possibly occurs due to excess welding current attributed to a variation in heat capacity of a base material occurring in performing boxing and the like and yet constant deposited bead width is required, thereby welding work for obtaining the constant deposited bead width can be performed at high efficiency of work by suppressing the welding defects due to the excess welding current. SOLUTION: With the purpose of causing no welding defects due to excess welding current between welding the sections P102-P103, the controller 30 gradually varies a feeding speed F of a welding wire 21 and an inter-welding electrode voltage V between these welding sections P102-P103. At the same time, for the purpose of making a deposited bead width W constant between the welding sections P102-P103, the tip end moving speed S of the welding torch 17 is controlled to be gradually varied, in accordance with the variation in the feeding speed F of the welding wire 21 and in the inter-welding electrode voltage V between the welding sections P102-P103.
