PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lighting equipment, which can prevent waste power consumption due to a loss of an amount of a light, and to provide a liquid crystal display using the lighting equipment, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: By having at least a light emitting body 111, which consists of an electro-luminescence element 100, and a board-like light guide body 112, which leads the light emitted from the light emitting body 111 to liquid crystal display equipment 120, and forming the electro-luminescence element 100 so that it may contact to an end face 39 of the board-like light guide body 112 or at least one part of it may lay under the light guide body, the loss light leaked outside of the light guide body 112 is reduced, and the power consumption of lighting equipment is controlled. |
