PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a flash memory with an error detecting and correcting function contained in a micro-computer. SOLUTION: The flash memory 1 with an error detecting and correcting function selects three bytes (23:0) from a word (31:0) of a control program and control data input from the writer and writes the same corresponding to a word address on an address bus input from the writer according to a byte write signal from an externally connected writer, reads out three bytes (23:0) corresponding to a word address on the address bus from a CPU 2, performs error detection and correction in units of bytes to the respective bytes (23:16,15:8,7:0), and outputs the result to the data bus. |
