The invention refers to a dose counter device for an inhaler that in a reliable way will register a delivered dose from a canister comprised in the inhaler, and that at the same time substantially will reduce the risk of falsely register a dose not delivered. Thus, the present invention will in an effective way, substantially avoid erroneous counting of delivered doses from the canister.
