An electric motor, comprising a brake and a ventilator, wherein the ventilator, comprising a base body and ventilator vanes provided thereon, is designed as a single-piece injection moulded piece and injection moulded permanent magnets are provided in the ventilator, wherein an electric circuit is provided at an axial separation from the ventilator fixed to the motor flange by means of retainer means and connected to the stator housing of the motor.
