The herein disclosed stiffness-enhancing rod 1 of the fishing line 2 impedes this last from being rearwardly bowed throughout casting of the flying-line (sinkers and hooks) 5 without harming the forward flexion capability. The stiffness enhancer in question may be either composed of structural elements of the fishing line 2, or permanently incorporated thereto or removably adapted during the casting of the flying-line. Advantage: casting of the flying-line at longer distance.
