The present invention relates to frame (10) for supporting a panel. The frame (10) is constituted by a plurality of bars wherein at least two of these bars have the same cross section (24). This cross section is designed such that frames comprising bars with the above-mentioned cross section may be stacked on one another. The present invention also relates to a panel module comprising a panel and a frame of the present invention as well as a method of simultaneously producing and stacking such modules.
