<p>A rope end device for elevator is united with an elevator rope end. The elevator rope consists of a core rope and, disposed on the outer circumferential portion thereof, multiple outer-layer strands. The rope end device has a socket and a sleeve fixed at an end portion of the core rope and disposed within the socket. The socket is provided with a socket taper hole with tapered cross section. The sleeve is provided with a sleeve outer circumferential surface with tapered cross section capable of holding an end portion of outer-layer strand between the same and the inner wall surface of the socket taper hole.</p> |
