A system for discharging thin flex material in a laminator and an operating method thereof are provided to completely separate a film paper from the surface of thin flex material by instantaneously increasing a winding speed of the film paper. A system for discharging thin flex material in a laminator comprises a thin flex film roll unit(1) wound by a thin flex film(1a). The thin flex film and a sheet paper(S1) are compressed by a pressing roller(8) to thin flex material on the surface of the sheet paper. A sensor unit(3) detects approach of laminated thin flex material(S2). A separator(4) allows the laminated thin flex material to pass therethrough and separates a film paper(1b) from the thin flex material. A film paper roll unit(6) is provided above the separator to collect the film paper separated from the thin flex material. A discharge roller(5) is disposed at the outer side of the separator to discharge the thin flex material having no film paper.
