Use of bromelain for the treatment of inflammatory diseases and for adjuvant therapy during wound healing processes

The present application pertains to the use of bromelain preparing a medicament for increasing the IL-8 level in an individual so as to reducte or prevent inflammation in said individual and as an adjuvant therapy during wound healing processes.
