PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which can always and stably keep the operation of a servo circuit in a recording and reproducing device. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium 10 provided with groove tracks 11 which consist of a 1st area Ba, where recording information are recorded, and a 2nd area Ca, where prescribed data are formed as embossed pit train 19 to obstruct the read of other data to be overwritten and recorded and land tracks 12 are formed between adjacent groove tracks 11, the depth Ed and duty of the embossed pit train 19 are set so that the radial push pull signal level of the 2nd area is almost >=80% of a radial push pull signal level in the 1st area. |
