PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight clothing material in which an expanded net is used (as an interlining), easy for a wearer to make a motion, further improved in thermal insulating, cushioning and floating functions than ever without impairing the wearer's feeling when worn, and accompanied by neither cost increase nor disadvantage in terms of productivity. SOLUTION: This clothing material is a fabric B which is obtained by interposing an expanded net 1, constructed by mutually crossing a plurality of expanded strands s1 and s2 and mutually fusing these strands at the respective intersections k, between an obverse cloth 11 an a reverse cloth 12 wherein the respective sectional shapes of the strand s1 and strand s2 have ellipsoidal shapes and are different in major axis/minor axis ratio from each other, and the expanded strands s1 and s2 are mutually fused in such a way that the longitudinal direction of the sectional shape is substantially rectangular to the net surface 2. |
