摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of a rotation angle of a rotating shaft in an electromagnetic clutch while maintaining low cost and a small size. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 22 with an N pole and S pole set around a rotating shaft is arranged on an end part of the rotating shaft 5 of the electromagnetic clutch 1. An MR sensor IC 26 fixed on a base 2 is arranged on a rotation axial line of the rotating shaft 5. When the rotating shaft 5 rotates, direction of magnetic flux applied on a detection part of the MR sensor IC 26 from the permanent magnet 22 changes. The change is detected by the MR sensor IC 26 and a signal is output. The output of the MR sensor IC 26 is smooth to an angle change of the rotating shaft 5, and highly accurate angle detection can be performed with a simple structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
