<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper carrying device capable of improving throughput by abolishing a lower limit value of a narrowed space between paper sheets, and an image forming device equipped with the same device. <P>SOLUTION: A curvature part W for curving the paper and storing the paper is provided on a downstream side of a roller having fast peripheral speed and an upstream side of a roller having slow peripheral speed in a carrying path having a plurality of rollers for carrying the paper. A pocket K for storing a rear end of the paper is provided at an upstream end part of the curvature part W. Namely, the curvature part W is provided on an upstream side of a register roller 117, and the paper P1 is curved and is stored in the curvature part W till the paper P1 passes the register roller 117. As a result, rollers 115, 116a and 116b on the upstream side can be driven while the paper P1 gradually passes the register roller 117 from the curvature part W, the space between paper sheets can be narrowed as much as possible, and thereby average printing speed (throughput) of the image forming device is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
