<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical transmission module that facilitates confirmation of an aligned state as well as alignment in the rotating direction between an optical component and an array waveguide wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer, since the optical transmission module for connecting the optical component having no branch input/output section to the array waveguide wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer is difficult to confirm the aligned state because of the lack of the branch input/output section in the optical component. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the optical transmission module is designed such that a light beam with a specific wavelength for outputting only to a specific port of the array waveguide wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer is used for alignment light for alignment, for the purpose of connecting the array waveguide wavelength multiplexer/demultiplexer to the optical component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
