<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a car body fitting/fixing recess of a grommet from being incompletely fitted/fixed to an inner peripheral face of a throughhole with the grommet slantingly inserted into the throughhole of a car body panel. <P>SOLUTION: A protector for guiding is a resin molded product having a conical tubular body portion, and is fitted outside the grommet, wherein a group of electric wires of wire harness arranged in a car is inserted through the grommet to be held, then the grommet is fed through the throughhole of the car body panel to be fitted. In an outer peripheral face of a tube portion with conically enlarged diameter of the grommet of rubber or elastomer, the conical body portion is engaged outside a region reaching up to an outside diametrical position equivalent to an inside diameter of the throughhole from a small diametrical end side of the tube portion with the enlarged diameter. The body portion can be opened/closed with a slit provided in an axial direction, by which fitting to the tube portion with the enlarged diameter of the grommet is possible from a rectangular direction to an axis. Moreover, a tongue strip for tape winding is protrusively provided from an end edge of a small diametrical side of the main body portion, and the tongue strip for tape winding is fixed by tape winding to a small diametrical tube portion, through which the group of electric wires is adherently inserted continuously to a small diametrical side end of the tube portion with the enlarged diameter of the grommet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
