PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein power consumption required for processing Doppler signals is large because of needing to carry out arithmetic processing of a urine flow detection filter for extracting signals of a required frequency band from received data to detect Doppler signals, thereby needing to sample received data at sampling intervals corresponding to the frequency of Doppler signals. SOLUTION: This toilet bowl flushing device comprises a Doppler sensor for detecting urine flow; a urine flow detection processing part for processing sensor output in a predetermined sampling cycle and detecting urine flow through the urine flow detection filter means adapted to the sampling cycle; and a control part for performing control according to urine flow presence/absence output. The toilet blow flushing device further has a frequency analyzing means for measuring frequency included in the sensor output, and a sampling cycle changing means for changing the sampling cycle according to the output of the frequency analyzing means.
