The invention relates to a device for dry-binding particles in the form of fibers and/or chips, comprising a horizontally extending hollow body (1), an inlet shaft (13) through which the particles are pneumatically delivered to the hollow body in a particle flow, having a component that is at a right angle to the hollow body, a shaft (7) that extends across the entire length of the hollow body and that is provided with mixing tools, a transport air feed on a rear face of the hollow body, at least one binding nozzle (15) on the rear face of the hollow body and an outlet (14). Next to the inlet shaft (13), on the side facing away from the rear face of the hollow body, the device is provided with a binding shaft (35) for binding the particles in the deflection zone, which is configured to feed additional air to the hollow body (1) and that has at least one second binding nozzle (43) in the zone of the inlet into the hollow body. The inventive device allows a very uniform binding of particles even at high outputs. |
