<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the obstacle receiving performance in an airbag device arranged on a front pillar. <P>SOLUTION: A regulating member 13 is provided on an airbag 7. Two ends 17 separate from each other of the regulating member 13 are connected to a second seat part 12. An intermediate part 14 located between the ends 17 is connected to a first seat part 11. The section of the regulating member 13 orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of a front pillar 2 is substantially V-shaped when the airbag 7 is deployed to regulate the movement of a second seat part 12 in the direction separating from the first seat part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
