<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a recording and reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing all CM parts inserted into a program and reproducing a program in which reproduction timing to insert a CM is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A recording and reproducing apparatus comprises: a recording means 15 for recording on a recording medium a program transmitted from a broadcasting station and constituted of a plurality of main broadcast parts and a plurality of the CM parts; a recording position detecting means 14 for detecting recording starting positions of the main broadcast parts and the CM parts on the basis of identification information; and a reproduction control data generating means 17 for generating reproduction control information for first reproducing a CM part recorded after the main broadcast part only when an operation for reproducing the CM part recorded after the main broadcast part is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
