<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve securities and prevent breakage, of various peripheral device cards such as a PCMCIA, an IC card, and a CF card. <P>SOLUTION: A peripheral device card which is mounted on a host device and includes a function part executing functions for prescribed information processing, has an IC tag communication part operated by power supplied from induced electromotive force relating to IC tag communication and operates with the induced electromotive force relating to IC tag communication to self-diagnose functions relating to operations of the function part and informs the host device of the self-diagnosis result by IC tag communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
