<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial waste melting/solidifying apparatus simplifying control of combustion speed in melting industrial wastes with oxygen-enriched air or high temperature air. <P>SOLUTION: The industrial waste melting/solidifying apparatus comprises: a melting furnace 10; an oxygen generating device 30 supplying oxygen-enriched air to the melting furnace 10; and a burner provided to face the inside of the melting furnace 10. Industrial wastes w such as asbestos, pesticide residues and incineration ashes are thrown into the melting furnace 10, and combustible materials within the industrial wastes and fuel from the burner 28 are combusted at a high temperature by using the oxygen-enriched air, whereby a melting process is performed on the industrial wastes. A throw-in port 15 formed in the melting furnace 10 is provided with a water-cooling jacket 22 via a throw-in gate 16. The water-cooling jacket 22 is provided with a throw-in door 23 for throwing the industrial wastes w, and the water-cooling jacket 22 is further provided with a pusher 25 for pushing the thrown-in industrial wastes w out toward the throw-in port 15 to control combustion speed, thus controlling the throw-in speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
